A Simple Question
Why should advanced bathroom technology only be available to those willing to pay luxury prices? Smart toilets have been standard in homes across Asia and Europe for decades, yet in America, they remained a premium product with premium price tags.
In 2025, Jorden Leib set out to change that. With a background in product development and manufacturing partnerships, he saw an opportunity to bring world-class smart toilet technology to American homes — without the world-class price tag.
To make premium bathroom technology accessible to every home, because comfort and hygiene shouldn't be luxuries.
The LEIBEN Story
From conception to creation — the milestones that shaped LEIBEN.
Jorden departs an executive leadership role in an equipment design and manufacturing company. For the remainder of 2024, he travels and meets with designers and manufacturers across industries looking for opportunities to improve products. He discovers the smart toilet space in late 2024.
Jorden begins to plan how to improve the value offered by smart toilets and explores why Americans and Canadians have been slow to adopt them. He attends builder conferences to learn the challenges firsthand.
Leiben is founded and embarks on a three-month business trip across Asia — visiting factories throughout China and Thailand to understand the full manufacturing process of a smart toilet from the inside out.
